Buck Hickman is a Consulting Partner based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, offering 20+ years of cost reduction and financial analysis expertise in manufacturing, construction, government procurement, and in the medical device industry.
Buck has a proven record of success in negotiating cost savings, improving processes, and increasing profitability in manufacturing and service operations.
Before joining ERA, Buck worked in R&D/new product development for a multinational medical device manufacturing company. His additional work has included construction services and recreational vehicle manufacturing. Buck has excelled as a Naval Officer, director, project manager, and senior R&D buyer.
Buck completed Harvard Business School’s Online Business Analytics Certificate Program. He holds a Master of Science degree in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas and a BA in International Relations from Georgetown University.
Buck also served on active duty in the US Navy (as a logistics officer) and in the US Air Force (as a gunship electrician). He has been involved in various philanthropic activities, including cycling fundraisers for multiple sclerosis, volunteering with the United Way, and various work for veteran causes.
