Dave joined ERA in 2011 as a Senior Consulting Partner in Seattle, WA, and leads two consulting practices for ERA serving clients in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. As a trusted advisor, Dave has successfully led numerous engagements for a wide variety of clients in the social services, healthcare, assisted living, mental health, and non-profit industries, assisting clients to collectively generate more than $8.6 million in total gross savings across more than 20 different cost categories. Client projects have ranged in size from several hundred thousand to multi-million dollar projects. In addition to focusing on managing client engagements, Dave often speaks at industry conferences, sharing best practices and strategies to assist organizations to develop “best in class” cost management practices.

Before joining ERA, Dave served in a variety of sales and business development leadership roles in the office products, commercial print, and SaaS technology industries, including an international expansion in Canada and a successful turnaround of a corporate acquisition.  Immediately prior to joining ERA, Dave was recruited by a leading SaaS technology start-up to build and implement a scalable partner program as a core component of the company’s strategic growth plan targeting high potential market verticals and ISV partners.

Dave managed all aspects of strategic business development program planning. Including recruiting and launching more than 20 new ISV partners across several market verticals. Many with technology integrations driving a 529% increase in channel revenue contribution from 7% of total company revenues to 41% in a 3-year period while the company’s gross revenues increased 9X.

Dave has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Gettysburg College and is a certified Six Sigma Champion. Thorpe has over 25 years of sales, sales management and business development experience with general office products/systems; commercial printing, logistics and digital workflow solutions; and web hosting services.

He began his career with Xerox Corporation in New York and held a number of sales and senior management positions during his nearly 20 years with RR Donnelley in Canada, Connecticut and Washington State. Most recently, he was Director of Business Development with DocuSign in Seattle. Thorpe’s leadership consistently led to exponential increases in revenues, profits and market share.

He has a B.A. in Business Administration from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania and has participated in Six Sigma Champion Training.
