ERA Consulting Partner Mathias Hemberger brings more than three decades experience in B2B sales leadership, operations, supply chain management, procurement, and marketing to every project he tackles.
His experience has spanned four countries and supported regional and global operations.
Before joining ERA, Mathias worked for the German arm of well-known manufacturer Unilever and one of the world’s leaders in fragrance and flavor production – Firmenich. While at Firmenich, Mathias rose through the ranks from account manager to President of Agilex Fragrances and VP of Commercial Transformation. He oversaw projects that drove digital experiences, elevated sales capabilities with a globally deployed CRM, and diversified the business. As the President of Agilex Fragrances, he was instrumental in several due diligence exercises for mid-market fragrance house acquisitions. Having held numerous leadership roles, VP, and President titles, Mathias knows firsthand company leaders’ challenges.
Mathias holds a Diplom-Kaufmann (German equivalent to MBA) in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing and Strategic Management from Universität des Saarlandes. He attended The Julius Maximilans University of Würzburg for his undergraduate degree, also in Business Administration.
When he’s not working, Mathias enjoys cycling, hiking, and watching Formula 1 racing with his wife Anette and two adult daughters. He also volunteers his time as a board member for Capital Harmony Works, a music education nonprofit organization based in Trenton, New Jersey.
