Russ Thaler is an Emmy-award-winning sports journalist with more than 20 years of experience in broadcast journalism. Prior to joining ERA, Russ held roles as a Studio Host for NBC Sports, leading the coverage of MLS on NBC, and served as a reporter and host for the 2012 and 2014 Olympics. He has also held prominent on-air roles at Tennis Channel and Comcast Sports Net Mid-Atlantic (now NBC Sports Washington).
Russ’ background allowed him to develop world-class communication skills as well as the ability to excel in a fast-paced, ever-changing industry environment. In his role with ERA, Russ makes full use of his research skills, networking abilities, and team-building experience. His forte is putting the right people in the best position to provide optimal service to his clients.
Russ played Varsity Tennis and graduated with a degree in Political Science from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.
