Mr. Fraser brings extensive experience and expertise in the facets of higher education, manufacturing, and extensive military background.
John served as the Director of the Executive M.B.A. Program in the Henry B. Tippie School of Management at The University of Iowa for 14 years, collaborating extensively with corporate sponsors to assure relevant and applicable curriculum was delivered to hundreds of program participants. Mr. Fraser has also served as an adjunct lecturer for the past twelve years, teaching undergraduate business classes in Business Strategy, Business Communications and Ethics and Leadership at The University of Iowa. A popular public speaker, he has also been an active Dale Carnegie Course instructor for the past 24 years. His corporate experience includes 23 years with Amana Refrigeration in numerous sales, sales management, branch management, corporate training and human resource management leadership roles.
Additionally, Mr. Fraser is a retired Navy Captain, having served seven years on active duty and eighteen years in the Naval Air Reserve. Mr. Fraser received a Secretary of Defense appointment in 2011 to serve as a member of the Board of Visitors for the National Defense University in Washington, D.C. The National Defense University Board of Visitors provides the Secretary of Defense, through the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the President of the National Defense University, independent advice, and recommendations on organization management, curricula, methods of instruction, facilities and other matters of interest to the National Defense University. The board is composed of not more than 20 members who are eminent authorities in the fields of national defense, academia, business, national security affairs and the defense industry.
Educational credentials include an undergraduate degree at San Diego State University and M.B.A. from The University of Iowa.
