Tom is a Principal Consultant with Expense Reduction Analysts (ERA) serving Alabama, Central and North Florida since 2006. As an advisor and advocate, his focus is to build strong relationships and deliver comprehensive cost containment solutions for his CEO and CFO clients.
Tom is an expert at evaluating a company’s “spend” data and, then developing strategies and implementing plans to achieve cost reductions while assuring that the highest product and service quality standards are maintained, if not improved. Tom has led reviews in manufacturing, restaurants, & healthcare totaling over 20 million in spending across categories including telecommunications, office supplies, print, medical supplies, commercial chassis and DME (durable medical equipment). He is also the primary analyst and lead negotiator for contract labor projects in manufacturing and healthcare.
Prior to joining Expense Reduction Analysts, Tom served as a Chief Financial Officer of Rochelle Holdings, a real estate investment company operating primarily in Central Florida. In his role, he navigated through the varied capital stack needs and negotiated opportunities, as well as oversaw finance for an affiliated law firm. Tom has also served as Director of Corporate Purchasing with Federal Signal Corporation. Over his 10-year engagement, he dealt with benchmarking, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiations. He authored and led a company-wide initiative known as “Bold Goal,” which established measurements to identify credible savings opportunities. This program is still in practice today by each division within Federal Signal Corporation.
Tom earned his MBA in Finance from De Paul University and his CPA certificate from the State of Illinois.
