Tom has been a Principal Consultant with Expense Reduction Analysts (ERA) since 2006. As an advisor and advocate, his focus is to build strong relationships and deliver comprehensive cost containment solutions for his CEO and CFO clients.
Tom is expert at evaluating a company’s “spend” data, then developing strategies and implementing plans to achieve reductions in costs while assuring that the highest product and service quality standards are maintained, if not improved. Tom has led reviews in Manufacturing, Restaurants, & Healthcare totaling over 20 million in spend across categories including Telecommunications, Office Supplies, Print, Medical Supplies and DME (Durable Medical Equipment) and was the primary analyst and lead negotiator for Contract Labor projects in Manufacturing and Healthcare.
Prior to joining Expense Reduction Analysts, Tom worked as a Chief Financial Officer of Rochelle Holdings navigating through the varied capital stack needs and negotiates opportunities for this real estate investment company operating primarily in Central Florida, as well as oversees Finance for an affiliated Law Firm. Tom has also served as Director of Corporate Purchasing with Federal Signal Corporation and over his 10-year engagement dealt with Benchmarking, Supplier Evaluation, Contract Negotiations and authored and led a company-wide initiative known as “Bold Goal” which established measurements by which credible savings could be identified. This program is still in practice today by each division within Federal Signal Corporation.
Tom earned his MBA in Finance from De Paul University and his CPA certificate from the State of Illinois.
